English coriander August 2024

Finally, summer has arrived and with it the warmer weather.

Our UK Coriander is in full bloom and absolutely covered in honeybees collecting pollen in their pollen sacks. The pollen is an important protein for the bees and especially the Queen who can lay over 3,000 eggs in a single day.

Fingers crossed for more hot dry weather, and we should then be able to harvest in mid-September.
